Hope those kids like fiber!

A couple of weeks ago Mom bought some Fiber one bars at Costco.. 
She usually gets these..

Yummy!

But it is good to mix things up, unfortunately that doesn't always work out.

Even with chocolate it tastes like sawdust.
Chocolate covered home improvement dust..
Not so yummy.

The fact that they were bought at Costco means we have lots and lots of them getting stale in the cupboard. 

Not that you can tell if they go stale.. might in fact, improve the flavor.

So I thought maybe we could take advantage of the greed of children! They are much larger than the 'fun size' candy.. First goblin at the door went for quantity over quality.. Yes! only 20 more to go.

Ha ha, we fooled them.. greedy little sticky ghouls.

BTW, Thanks Rhone, the front door is so much better now! We don't need to fight if every time a trick or treater comes a knocking!

Yesterday Mom thought it would be fun to dress Bella up as the piggy from Angry Birds.

Great I have a pink T-shirt I never wear, we can cut it up and make her a costume!

What? They are green??? Grrrrrrrrr.

So no Piggy costume for the cat...

Home again..

I think I love it here!
After time in the snow and suburbia, I realize how fond I have become of the quirkiness of Las Vegas.
(Makes me happy Chell had agreed to move out here!)
Riding home on the WAX.. the express bus to Scummerlin. I sat among tourist, locals, the Devil and Jesus.
We pick up the last two on Fremont Street.
The Devil looked good.

But nothing great..

Jesus was spot on.. no fake beard and hair.. the guy must be named Jesus..

Like this.. right down to the robe and crown.

So I am just hanging out on the bus.. thinking of all those who wear a Saint Christopher medal.. (Patron Saint of Travel)... I have them all beat, I have the Son of God sitting on my bus!

I really should have snapped a picture.. I am pretty sure Jesus was a little tipsy and would have agreed.

Mom picked me up at the bus stop.. on the way home she insisted that I bring out my camera for this....

Crazy overboard Halloween decor in Summerlin..   The pictures don't begin to tell the story! I bet Christmas is going to be a treat!

Halloween in Las Vegas is a month long party.. 

I miss Chell, but it's good to be home.. Bella acts like a little Bitch, talking non stop. 

My bathroom was trashed by the Krazy Kat...   I am still trying to figure out how a innocent feline can make such a mess..

Everything is frightful.

The basement was decorated for halloween.

Now its all clean! 
A quick trip to Sears Lesbian hardware department and a shop vac purchase made the basement a nicer place to visit.
Not so bad... and as long as Chell and I are underground it is easier to pretend that this doesn't exist.



It might be wise to wait a warm day or two to take those exterior real estate photos.

 It's not going to last.. I think I will make it.
I'm not going to go all Donner party..

The samples were good today, except I wanted to try the Newman's Own Coffee.
 Mmmmm Coffee.
But the stupid lady taking a miniature cup wouldn't shut up.. going on and on about her pod coffee maker..
Personally I this those pods are for wussies... Who only drinks one cup at a time??

It was taking too long and the Cinnabon lady drew my attention away..

Tomorrow another coat in the other bedroom and if we are brave enough... Chell and I will arm ourselves with brooms and attack the Basement.

Public bus etiquette.

Yippee! I am in Westminster Colorado, just out side of Denver.


Sodom and I flew out here Wednesday night.. got here early Thursday Morning. As far as Demonic travelling companions go, he isn't that bad.

He stopped me from gagging a woman on the bus to the airport..  You know the kind, blue tooth and loud one sided conversation....  she didn't even shut up long enough to thank or acknowledge the nice bus driver that strapped her Jazzy wheelchair cruising ass in..  Which wasn't easy, cause she wasn't paying attention and the chair was loaded down with backpacks, bags and Meth.

She hung up long enough to redial.. (On the phone that was apparently broken according to the first conversation.)..
I won't lie, a have a habit of saying some dirty words.. but I try not to when in public or around those it might offend..  This woman was Fuck you, fuck that.. loud enough for the whole bus to cringe.

This doesn't excuse bad behavior!

I survived the plane ride here, late as it was.. and now it is painting time! Getting Chell's house ready to sale...so she can come to Vegas play full time.

Mom is at the Social Security office. The forth time since September.
1st to tell them that Dad had died.


2nd to ask about a confusing statement that came in the mail, with two different figures on it.


3rd time to give them a check for Dads August payment. That they said if we don't take it out of your account electronically send us a check.


Today because.... they took the money out automatically, even though there was a check floating out there with Uncle Sams name on it.. Then she stopped payment on that check, because they took the money anyway. Then yesterday they put the money back in her account. 

Oops!

I bet that is going to be a fun one to explain.

Add to that the Infiniti woes. The mechanic fixed the original problems.. and took it out for a spin to make sure.

Uh oh.. apparently the engine mountings are nonexistent.  Another $900. Shit shit shit shit damn.

She told them to hold off, and called Mikey. He says that is a lot for engine mountings. 

She called them this morning to say she needs to think about it.. but it is kind of a big deal.. it sucks when your engine rattles around under the hood.

That's what engine mountings look like... I had no clue either.

It suck for Mom, these matters were always decided after discussions between her and Dad. 

It's a good thing she has seven kids to bounce ideas off of.

Expect a call.

It has not been a good day for mumsy.

So being the faithful daughter that I am, I'm going to get on a plane and leave her here alone with her problems. 

 She has the truck and the little convertible she can drive. She won't be stuck in the house with only Bella to torment.
